Brief Answer:
Black like a tar stool can indicate bleeding from stomach.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

There is no one issue which can cause all your symptoms together. So most likely there are two separate problems.
First is the pain caused by bending and coughing. Still it could be a hernia. As long as you do not check it with an ultrasound (or better with CT), you can not be sure. And it is very characteristic for hernia to appear and disappear.
Pulled muscles are of course the possibility. Especially that coughing needs lots of muscles to act together.

Black bowel movement can be the sign of bleeding from the stomach. But it has to be black like a tar stool. Not just dark brown.
Dark brow stool seems to be caused by some constipation.

Frequent urinating is a characteristic sign of an infection or prostate enlargement. Even if the urine sample was clear in that time, this could change.

Here is what you should do:
- if the stool was black like a tar, do not wait and consult gastrologist as soon as possible (gastroscopy should be done)
- check your urine once again
- consult urologist to check your prostate
- if the lower abdominal pain will appear again, consult general surgeon

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
