Suggest Remedies For Vertigo When Diagnosed With Meniere's Disease

Question: Does Meniere's always involve vertigo? I am going through periods in which my right ear becomes very noisy, sounding like static on a radio station. That's in addition to a background of high pitched noise. I don't feel spinning, but I feel a disorienting dizziness every time I move. Static only happens when I move. Makes my vision "off" for those brief moments. I am 7 years post op for Acoustic Neuroma from which I recovered fantastically. I have sleep apnea and have developed all kinds of ear problems and eustacian tube, allergy problems since going on a CPap 3 years ago. Any ideas?

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. Meniere's disease is an ailment wherein the inner ear is affected. The inner ear consists of the vestibular apparatus (responsible for balance) and the cochlear apparatus (responsible for hearing). So, unless the vestibular apparatus is affected, vertigo would not be present. The problems with cochlear apparatus is responsible for your problems. Using hearing aids with masking sounds should make a difference.

The other problems are unrelated.
