Brief Answer:
It can be lower respiratory tract infection or acute bronchitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through. Based on the history you have shared, it seems as if you are suffering from a lower respiratory tract infection or acute bronchitis which can present with such cough and wheezing or rumbling sounds as you have mentioned. To start with, I would suggest to visit your GP and get yourself examined as chest examination with stethoscope may reveal a clue towards the possible cause. Also get blood picture and chest Xray done to rule out any signs if pneumonia. In any case you will need a course of antibiotics like augmentin or azithromycin for 5 days minimum alongwith anti histamines like cetrizine or loratidine. Using steam inhalations and If wheeze is confirmed then using salbutamol nebulizer may be needed for atleast a week until it settles. Cough suppressants syrups may also help. Avoid exposure to cold, and also avoid greasy and fizzy foods. Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
