Brief Answer: Tylenol.... Detailed Answer: Hi, Tylenol (paracetamol) is a very safe medicine in this circumstances. He can take it now and as and when fever spikes again. This drug is safe as long as he takes them with a minimum gap of 4 hours between each dose. Definitely last year bone marrow transplant is unrelated to the current symptom. He most likely has some sort of infection. I will need a little more details about his associated complaints to figure out the nature / type of infection. Therefore please reply to the below questions: 1. Since how long has he been having fever? 2. Does he have rashes on the skin? 3. Does he have symptoms of cough, cold, nasal congestion, sorethroat, ear ache? 4. Is he vomiting or passing loose stools or has stomach ache? 5. Is he passing urine normally? Please provide additional details for further comments. Awaiting your reply....
