Brief Answer:
If infected with rabies, the dog would probably be dead by now.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Rabies is a disease that occurs in mammals including humans and dogs. If affected, the disease is lethal and hence dreaded. If your dog was affected, manifestations of the disease should have been apparent within 10 days, in fact in that case the dog would probably be dead by now. If that is not the case, it may perhaps be safely assumed that the dog is not rabid. If the dog is not infected, he cannot cause rabies to you and hence the further doses of your rabies vaccine may be skipped without any worries. I do not think that you need to wait for the 20th day.

Please do not panic. You may relax.

From last few days I'm also suffering from migraine

Sir it is also that I'm thinking too much about it and panicking myself and my daily routine?

Brief Answer:
It is likely to be due to an unrelated viral infection

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking back. Sorry for not being able to answer anytime faster.

The rise in temperature could be associated with an unrelated viral infection and probably the headache is related. It has no connection with rabies. Taking paracetamol/tylenol should provide relief from both fever and headache. Steam inhalation should provide relief from cough and cold.

I do not think that you need to worry. Probably you are indeed panicking unnecessarily. Things are just fine and you can get back to your regular routine.

Wish you all the best.
