Thanks for consulting us.
At this stage of pregnancy both medical & surgical methods of pregnancy termination can be used. Both have good success rates & neither is without complications.
Vacuum Aspiration (Suction evacuation) is the most commonly used method for termination of early pregnancies. However, being a surgical technique, it is associated with risks of infection, perforation of uterus, incomplete abortion and uterine adhesion formation (Asherman's Syndrome).
Termination by using drugs can be done in many ways & different regimen are used with different dosage schedules & route of administration and they also vary with gestational age.
Prostaglandin analogues are used with or without Anti-progesterone medicines to cause an abortion medically. These are all prescription medicine & have there side effects & you must use them under medical supervision.
So, if you are pregnant with an unplanned pregnancy you may visit a registered medical practitioner to have a safe abortion. Your doctor will guide you exactly what to do depending upon the rules & regulations in your area & also evaluate your general health.
Hope I have given you the desired clues. You must opt for a reliable birth control in future to avoid such things in future.
Wish you good health.
