I would not recommend smoking for one week prior to your scheduled echo cardio gram. This will decrease the likelihood that smoking marijuana will affect your heart rate or imaging results. it is difficult to say for sure if smoking marijuana has any real direct effect on results as there are no large clinical trials that have studied this. For this reason, in order to be conservative I would recommend avoid smoking for this one week Prior to your scheduled exam.
recreational use otherwise will not significantly impact your echocardiogram results.
