Brief Answer:
investigate -complete blood count, ESR, CRP

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I have studied your case

Your foot symptoms are chronic and infection can be from long duration.

You may need to investigate in form of complete blood count, ESR, CRP.
ESR will be raised, but if CRP is also raised indicate recent ongoing infection.
If CRP is raised its better to rest and take care of your foot.
You need to continue antibiotic regime and look for results.

If CRP is normal you can travel taking proper care of your foot, and taking adequate rest.

For shorter right leg you can use orthotic/prosthetic device for achieving equal limb length.
