Is It Safe To Take Tylenol And Ibuprofen Together?

Question: Hi.

I am using lorazepam ( 1mg/day ) and 1 pill of Cipralex. What can i take for a tooth pain - dentist can only see me next week :(

I am so sorry to hear about this toothache that you have reported. If the pain is sever, I recommend you take both medications. If it is not, then start with Tylenol and only add ibuprofen if the pain is not well controlled.

1. Tylenol 500mg tablets: 2tablets 8hourly.
2. Ibuprofen 400mg: 1tablet 8hourly.

It is safe to take these medications with lorazepam and cipralex without any fears.

Unless you have bleeding problem, ibuprofen is good to take!

Hi,

I have been able to review the link and I think your concern is with Ibuprofen.

All drugs have a possible adverse reaction. Bleeding is one of them in this class of medications but not everyone develops it. It is rare and unless there is a clear bleeding problem, it is safe to take it. What is feared most is gastritis and you should avoid taking the drug on an empty stomach. I will recommend you take it with no fear.
