Question: Hello,i had polycystic epydidimal removal 5 days ago,i didnt have any pain or complications after it,didn't even drink one painkiller,It is little swollen and multicolor, but it looks fine. My question is,how long do i need to wait untill sex or masturbation, and if there is any posibility that cum fluid stays somehow blocked inside of scrotum because of dameged epydidimis.Doctor said that he didn't cut epydidimis, just the cysts around. I am 33 old man.

Brief Answer:
Atleast avoid for 4 to 6 weeks or until adequate healing

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns.

It is good to know that you are not feeling any pain and healing is well in progress as you described it and there is no sign of infection at the site of surgery. Still using analgesics like acetaminophen or ibuprofen will help with pain or swelling if any. I wonder if any prophylactic antibiotic would have been better to avoid infection and rapid healing.

As far as your query is concerned, it is better to avoid it until full healing is ensured or atleast 4-6 weeks. As far as statsis of semen or pre cum is concerned, if epidydimis us intact, and normal testicular functioning is present it will keep producing semen and spermatogenesis whether you have sexual practices or not, and since it is bodies own produce, it is usually sterile and doesn't add into infection.

Hoping you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
