Brief Answer:
Chronic Liver Disease may end up in to Cirrhosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing in

Chronic liver disease is not reversible fully in most cases, it can end up in to cirrhosis

The medicines your doctor has prescribed will help control the symptoms

There are many other reasons apart from alcohol for non alcoholic liver disease so it is not necessary for a patient to be alcoholic to have liver disease

Going through your brother's reports I find the platelet count below 1 Lac, take care he has no bleeding episodes

Hope this helps
