default
Posted on Tue, 29 Mar 2016
Question: Had a miraine and had a migraleave tablet. How long before I can consume alcohol? I plan to drink a lot, I'm guessing a couple of hours after taking the tablet I will be ok to start?
Thanks

Thanks, I wont bother drinking tonight.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

Migraleve contains paracetamol, which when mixed with alcohol can cause liver damage. I would wait 24 hours after taking it to be safe. Plus, alcohol is terrible for migraines. It would make your migraine much worse. I don't recommend it in either case.
