Is A Dent On The Head After Injury A Cause For Concern?

Question: My wife hit her head on the corner of a closet insert today 45 min. ago. , sharp corner no bleading, small indent in tissue, checked pupils reactive but place ice pack and she took ibuprofen. She had very little sleep last night. She is asleep in the bed.
Any other things I should do ?

Your wife is definitely safe. There is nothing to worry about. If she develops minor pains and headaches, tylenol 1000mg would help. However, severe pains should warrant further evaluation.

In all, she’s safe unless otherwise. Tylenol for headache if any.
