Brief Answer:
Your risk is low. HIV DUO test can detect infecton as early as 2 weeks

Detailed Answer:
hello. thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist and venereologist).

Protected sex is safe as far as risk of Hiv is concerned. Moreover the symptoms that you are experiencing are not specific to Hiv.

In addition to RNA PCR for Hiv you may also take an Hiv DUO test (P24 antigen and Hiv antibody test). Hiv DUO test can detect hiv infection as early as 2 weeks after infection because it detects circulating P24 antigen which is the earliest to appear in the blood.
