Question: I believe that I may have an ovarian cyst. I have PCOS so that makes me prone. I have pain in my lower left abdomen, have been nauseous, and have had diarrhea. I went to the ER and they took a CT, took a blood test, and gave me a pelvic exam. They said that the only thing that came up on the blood test was that my WBC count was 13. and I had high blood pressure. When the doctor pressed on the stop I said was hurting the pain was almost unbearable. They said nothing was wrong and sent me home.

Brief Answer:
Cyst ovary

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The fact that you have PCOS dose not include the possibility of ovarian cyst, in my opinion to be sure for this your blood may be analyzed to measure the hormones level and MRI abdominal for more specific results.

In many cases, persistent pain specific to the lower left side of the abdomen is caused by diverticulitis, which are small pouches in colon.
