Question: My family member has copd stage 4 not sure if there is connection he seems to have seziors shake than falls out of chair and walks a few feet and those as same happens, There are situations were he seems to be unconscious and eyes are rolled back and shutters . He had a MRI Provider found no evidence to support damage to brain. Just wondering for myself if I get a Military discount , Just st got out of physic therapy center spent 30 days I am able to coping skills other than that Deep depression and uncontrolled anxiety have PTSD, Taking Adaivan depakote , I have taken xanax before I am 55 in good shape don't like depokote and xsnax works good

In your relative's case, we should rule out CO2 (carbon dioxide) narcosis.

End stage COPD patients can cause hypercapnia (excess CO2 in blood). This can cause similar symptoms like seizures, altered mental status, fall down etc.

It is better to get done arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis done for your relative.

Also consult a pulmonologist for the same.
