Question: Hi doctor my husband is a kidney cancer survivor , left kidney was removed in march 2019 , his creatinine is always 1.6 , he has toothache since 3-4 days , extraction is to be done on Friday as they have stopped ecosprin. For 3 days , but pain is terrible , can he take ketorol DT

He should avoid taking ketorolac as ketorolac also cause blood thinning which can cause an increased bleeding in the perioperative and post operative period.
Blood thinning is caused due to platelet inhibition action.

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) can be a safe alternative to Aspirin and is an equally effective pain reliever.
It doesn't have blood-thinning effects as aspirin and other pain relievers.

Can he take ultracet /ultracet semi and how many tablets a day! Thx

If taken round the clock,he can take it every 8 hourly.
