Question: From last 2 year I am feeling that hardness in my male organ has been reduce but my organ erect at the time of intercourse it is hard but it is not much hard, before two year it was good. Duration of my intercourse earlier (before 2 year) was also very good but from past two year it recrudesce very much and if I did not pull out it then I can't control my self being discharge and even if I just started my intercourse 1-2 minute ago.

I have been married for 6 year and before my marriage I have consulted one doctor and at that time also I have the same situation and he suggested my for semen test and at that time my count was 25 million as per unit and it was low where the normal standard was around 80 million or something and then he has suggested me Confido tablet(A himalaya company product) and also he has given me 4 injection and I don't know the name in each 15 days one. After 2 month when I again did same test my count increase to 80-90 million which is normal and my sex life was really good.

I don't know what is my semen count right now and I have not done it again, but now a days I am feeling the same kind of problem. Please suggest me what should I do.

Hi there ~

I understand your problems.

Firstly from your family history, it seems like you have a family history of allergy to "sulfa" drugs. I am assuming that you do not know of any allergies of your own.

Secondly you mention that you do not have any problems with erection, but lately you are having problems with "feeling that hardness in male organ has been reduced... and it is hard but is not much hard, before two year it was good". This goes to say that you have a common medical condition called Erectile dysfunction or ED. It also seems to me that from your saying that "I can't control my self being discharge and even if I just started my intercourse 1-2 minute ago" - you seem to also be having a problem with premature ejaculation. This and ED are two different things.

You seem to be married for 6 years and have already had a semen test. Although you mention parts of the result of the semen test it is hard to determine if you are fertile with the given facts. However, assuming that you have had a normal semen analysis and are taking medication to improve your "sex life" as well as injections suggested by the doctor, which I am assuming are testosterone replacement injections, I think the problem that needs to be focused on right now is to get the issues of premature ejaculation and ED out of the way.

Firstly you might need to consult an psychiatrist to find out if you have any difficulties in your libido causing you to have a problem with penile erection or have other mental health concerns like depression, which may also result in loss of libido. Otherwise, you have a very common problem of erectile dysfunction and / or premature ejaculation and it can be easily treated with medications available during this time. As for natural ways, if you go with ayurvedic medications, confido by himalaya has case based evidence for efficacy. The class of allopathic medication is called phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitors (PDE5Inh) selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors and it also helps with decreased libido which is a result of depression if you are going through one. I advise you to consult with a qualified psychiatrist who might be able to help in this regard. I hope this helps. Also none of the medications are sulfa based drugs, so you might not have to worry about allergic reactions.

Take care and have a lovely day!

Hi XXXXXX
There are plenty of doctors on this forum that are resident in Bangalore and you can access this website for information regarding specialists in the field for your convenience. Also, NIMHANS is a good place for you to start since you live in Bangalore and you have a national institute with specialists in the field there.

I hope this helps.
Take care of yourself and I sure hope you feel better!
