Does Spotting Indicate A Miscarriage?

default
Posted on Mon, 3 Nov 2014
Question: Hi. My LMP was 5th September 2014. I had a HCG test on 7th Oct and it was 470.5. Home pregnancy test was also positive. I do not have any pregnancy symptoms like nausea, dizziness etc. I had beetroots yesterday and today when I was passing my morning stool and when I cleaned the area I saw a red dot with white transparent outer ring. It was the size of a chilli flake. I do not know if it came from my vagina or the anus. I am worried if I miscarried or if its because of the beetroot. I do not have any painful cramps or bleeding and my vagina is pretty dry. Pls advise. I am worried. Is there anything like a red dot with a transparent outer ring, the size of a chilli flake, something related to my foetus

Brief Answer:
not possible

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, I understand your health concerns.
But after implantation as suggested by high bHCG levels if at all embryo is aborted it comes as a full fledged spotting and not a meager speck of blood.
Just take rest and keep taking the medicines as prescribed.
Don't be anxious as almost 10-15% patients have no pregnancy symptoms despite of carrying a normal pregnancy.
All the best.
