Does Intake Of Oflomac And Artigesic Help In Treating Anorexia In An Infant?
Question: Hi, My daughter is 18months old, 10.5kgs since three days she had fever and yesterday morning she had loose motion first yellow and it turned to green around 4times. Then it stopped. I visited a local doc he prescribed Oflomac 5ml twice a day & Artigesic 5ml trice a day. Since yesterday she doesn't have motion or fever.Shall I continue the meds? If yes how long I should give it.
Note: My daughter recently given vaccination about a week ago and had little fever which went off after I gave paracetamol.
Concern: Since a week she is not eating anything expect water and few chips. What I should give to improve her appetite?
Please suggest.

I read your message. Your doctor would have given it for a course of time.You can continue the medications for another 3 days, but don't stop them now.
you can feed them with legumes,powdered grains with milk,fruits,vegetables.

I read your message. Loose stools has come down because of antibiotic given to baby,don't stop it immediately. All the antibiotics should be taken for the complete course. Some times when you stop it will revert back, so give it for another 2-3 days and then stop. I think your doctor would have given it for a course of 4-5days.
