Does Bleeding With Frequent Urination And Fever Require Immediate Consultation?

Question: I think I have a UTI. Xbecause there is blood in my frequent urination. Had low grade fever some of Friday & now it is 3 am in XXXXXXX The blood just started showing up about midnight as I began to frequently urinate. Should I drink lots of liquids to flush out infection, go to urgent care nearby in AM, go to hospital now or wait til Monday to see my primary care physician ?

I understand your concern. Yes, it sure sounds like a urinary tract infection but the blood in urine may indicate something more than just a UTI. So I recommend you see a doctor at your earliest convenience for further investigation. You cannot flush an infection out. You need antibiotics to treat an infection, but first, you need to do a urine test to determine infection.
