Does Pause Affect Menstruation?

default
Posted on Wed, 28 Jun 2017
Question: I have constipation and anal fissure since 1month and 1 week and I'm taking cremaffin since then and I had some blood on stool last month after my periods at that time I had taken pause 500 for 5 days.... And now I got bleeding in drops before passing stool... So I'm taking pause 500 I have taken them twice daily for last 2 days and one today.. and I have date of my periods after 1-2 day but my rectal bleeding has not stopped... So should I continue with pause or should I stop? Is pause contraindicated before periods? And will my periods delay because of taking of it

Brief Answer:
Pause less likely to affect your period

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome
I have gone through your query.
First of all I would suggest you not to take any medication ( even if it is prescribed previously) own your own without consulting doctor.
Your condition need to be examined to comment on it. So I would suggest you to get yourself examined by local doctor or general surgeon.
Pause is helpful in reducing the bleeding, on period it will help to reduce heavy bleeding but it will not stop the period altogether. So it is less likely to affect your period if you continue to take.
Hope this helps. I'll be glad to clarify your further queries.
Take care
