Question: can heart attack symptoms last for 5 months I've had ekg chest xray and blood work done all came back perfect that was a month ago have anxiety and Gerd

Heart attack symptoms doesn't last for months. Since you have done ecg and blood test which had excluded a heart attack you shouldn't worry about it.

However in order to definitely exclude any minor cardiac issues and to relieve any concerns I would recommend to do the following examinations:
- Cardiac echo
- Holter monitoring
- Stress test

Your symptoms are typical of patients suffering from acid reflux or GERD and it will require a complete 6 months of treatment with PPI and diet to see clinical improvement of your symptoms.
