Do Excessive Kegel Exercises Cause Erectile Dysfunction?

default
Posted on Wed, 16 Dec 2015
Question: i did kegel exercises 2 years ago , but i was doing it 24 hours and i think i did it in a wrong way or something. however , after 5 months of doing it , i got erectile dysfunction. my erection was amazing and it last too much time. now it doesn't even last for few seconds and weak very short pennis . this is now going on with me for 1 year and 9 months. i test all tests and there is no cure for me cuz i don't have any problem as doctors claim. but it is not phsycological because im measuring my erection when i wake up. early morning erection is so weak and small it doesn't even good to insert it in a woman. check my reports

please note , im sure from my all previous tests it is something related to musceles or nervous system not blood. so in case you prefer to consult with another doctors together it will be good idea since my problem is very complicated and it needs a doctor who has physiotherapy back ground to help me i think.

Brief Answer:
Reverse kegels, Antioxidants rich diet, increase dose of cialis

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.

I have read your query and seen your reports thoroughly. Also, I have read the discussions which you have had with other doctors here.

I am of the opinion that you have overdone kegels and this might have contributed to weak erections. Although it may not be the sole cause. S1 compression can also be a contributing factor as it sends the nerve supply to the area.

Doing intensive kegel exercises without the complimentary reverse kegels can cause sexual problems. When there is an imbalance in your kegel muscle, your "pulling" kegel is probably much stronger than "pushing" kegel. It generates involuntary kegels during sex, which can interfere with arousal.

Psychological factors may play part in your case as you have been deeply tensed about your erection problem. In fact, erection problem always has a psychological cause.

So my suggestions for you would be:

Practice reverse kegels (you can learn the technique from internet, better to do it under a specialist's supervision).
In addition to it, increase the dose of cialis. You should try up to 40mg (with valid prescription).
Do not take any other drugs. No need as all reports are normal.
Diet should include vitamin C and E supplements.

Hope this helps.
Thanks and Regards.

Brief Answer:
Reverse kegels as explained.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again.

The simple way by which I can make you understand reverse kegels is:

Try to gently force the pee to go faster instead. This is basically a reverse kegel of the Bulbocavernosus muscle. You only need to do this once to get an idea what it feels like.

Sit comfortably in a chair and relax for a few moments. Now gently try to simulate the muscle movement you would make if trying to defecate. This movement will be doing a reverse kegel of the Pubococcygeus muscle.

Your lower stomach muscles will push out in the process.

Now try to breathe by expanding your stomach instead.

Now you can put it all together.

This will relax your pelvic muscles.

Hope this helps.

Take care.

Brief Answer:
Steps as detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
First, try to push your pelvis as if you are forcing your urine out. By this you would be able to identify which muscles to push out.

Second is, try to push your pelvis as if you are passing your stools forcibly.

Third step you got it right.

Do these steps one by one when you are doing it for first time.

Then you can do these all together.

Hope you are able to understand it now.
Thanks.

One urologist told me here to squeez for 10 seconds then relax totally for 30 seconds , he told me to do it only once every 2 or 3 hours, as he claims whenever u make tension to the muscele then sudden release it will loose it, u advice for it??

This a youtube video which you may find helpful in understanding reverse kegels.

I would suggest you to follow one kind of exercise, either this or as suggested by urologist.
I do not think that squeezing and relaxing thing will be as appropriate as reverse kegels.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Excess of everything is bad.

Detailed Answer:
Well, I follow the simple dictum that excess of everything is bad.

You did excess of kegels for your sexual problems which resulted in the adverse effects.

Excess relaxation may then technically reverse the benefits of kegels.

Maintaining the equilibrium is what is needed.

Thanks.
