Brief Answer:
no ,crying is not bad for your heart.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I read carefully your query.

No,crying itself is not bad for your heart.Crying is a way to relive stress and to release emotions but experiencing stressful situations for a long time can affect your health like increasing blood pressure or causing tachycardia.
Crying is not going to do any harm to your heart or health in general.

Hope it helps.
Let me know if you need further help.

Kind regards,

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

I am sorry for the health problems of your parents and I can understand your concern.

Genetic predisposition is a risk factor for having cardiovascular disease including heart attack ,congestive heart failure etc. This means that of a person has a positive family history of a first degree (father ,brother, mother ) is at greater risk of having heart disease.
But genetic predisposition is only one factor ,as are many others like diet, weight, diabetes, high blood pressure, smoking ,alcohol consumption, sedentary life and being overweight etc.So this doesn't means that you are going to have a heart disease for sure.

The risk of stroke is closely related to the risk of having high blood pressure and this risk is higher in relatives of patients with high blood pressure and stroke.
But as I said ,genetic predisposition is only one factor among many others so this doesn't means that you are going to have a stroke soon or later .It just mean that you have a higher probability of having these condition compared with a person that doesn't have such risk factors (with healthy parents).
So try to relax and don't think bad things.
You can't control the genetic predisposition but you can control other factors. You can try to eat healthy ,avoid fatty processed foods, keep always a healthy weight ,drink plenty of water and exercise regularly every days,

Take care.
