Can Arcuate Uterus Cause Repeated Abortions?

Question: Hysteroscopy has any role in deciding endometrial receptivity?Arcuate & an teverted utreus can cause repeated abortions? Any corrective measures or treatment can be done by hysteroscopy?Average of about 7.8 mm thickness of endometruim can adverse the treatment result in ICSI.I had a H/O missed abortion;ectopic pregnancy;4IUI & 1 ICSifailure .thank you

Brief Answer: important for evaluation and facilitate IVF. Detailed Answer: Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic. Hysteroscopy is very important to know the status of endometrium and patency of fallopian tubes, also as in your case arcuate uterus needs further evaluation to see for accommodative capacity of uterus. Before doing IVF-ICSI a XXXXXXX is given at the fundus to facilitate the implantation of embryo transferred Also accommodation capacity of uterus can be increased if required. Endometrial thickness is adequate but you need to be extra cautious this time because of previous bad obstetric history and arcuate uterus. thanks for your reply.Shall we do hysteroscopy in same cycle in which FET failed?After hystroscopy when FET can be performed?Is it necessary to keep free cycles

Brief Answer: Free cycles not needed. Detailed Answer: Hello, There is no need of free cycles in between hysteroscopy and IVF-ET. Even after failed cycle of IVF, hysteroscopy can be done. It is done in first 12 days of cycle only after menstrual flow stops that is before ovulation. In your case hysteroscopy is must an investigation and will be helpful in determining the next course of action. May god bless you with a healthy conception. All the best.
