Brief Answer:
Not to take for a longer duration

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Novelon is a oral contraceptive pill which is also used for regulating the menstrual cycle.
If you will take regular contraceptive, you will not be able to conceive.
So, it is advisable not to take Novelon for long duration, and stop it when you plan to conceive.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
