Brief Answer:
GLP analogue next to lifestyle

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear.Thanks for your query.

I deeply understand your concerns and appreciate your interest to strike a balanced and healthy weight.

I would not suggest phentermine as a weight loss pill since it does not have a promising cardiovascular safety(can cause high BP, palpitations and repeat heart attack).Studies on cardiovascular safety outcomes are ongoing on recent weight loss therapies(lorcaserin, liraglutide etc) and results are awaited.

Since you have had a mild heart attack in your past, personally I prefer lifestyle modification(diet/exercise) which you have already adopted in a good way.A balanced lifestyle will help check excess weight gain.If I have to choose a drug then I would prefer GLP analogue(liraglutide) and monitor your heart health periodically. This is recently approved by USFDA.

Hope this answers your query.
