Can Androcur Depot And Depo-Provera Be Administered Via The Intramuscular Route?

Question: I m a male 33 about to self inject 100ml Androcur Depot and 150ml depo provera unrefrigerated into my thigh. Will it be painful?

Both the injections can be injected intra muscularly and if the volume of the injection is not more than 2 ml then it is not likely to be very painful. Mild amount of pain is expected. Do not rub the area vigorously after the injection to avoid a hematoma formation.
