Brief Answer:
Anti-Inflammatories would be preferred over Naproxen

Detailed Answer:
Good day.

I would not use Acetaminophen / Oxycodone as an alternative to Naproxen unless it was specifically prescribed by your doctor for the issue you are describing. Narcotic pain medications are used to treat pain, but not necessarily the underlying issue, musculoskeletal stain (Which anti-inflammatories can). Narcotics can also be quite addictive, have many side effects, and it is QUITE STRONGER (too strong perhaps) for a condition that other inflammatories can control. As Naproxen is a NSAID (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory) Medication, I can list a few others in their class. Are you allergic to only Naproxen or antiinflammatories in general? If it is just the Naproxin safe alternatives would be Ibuprofen, Meloxicam or Aspirin. However, like I said I would ensure there were first no allergies.

I hope you can find comfort in these answers. Please feel free to ask as many follow up questions as needed.
