Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health related query and following are answers to your concern(s) raised:

1. As aloe vera has both medicinal (juice) as well as cosmetic (aloe gel) value but every medicine has got its own side/adverse effects whicg may occur differently from person to person, as

i. in some it may cause stomach pain with cramps.
ii. long term use may cause kidney problems, heart problems, weight loss,
iii. As efficacy is not established in women thus pregnant and/or lactating mother(s) should avoid it.
iv. Not recommended below 12 years as causes abdominal pain and diarrhea.
v. As Aloe causes bowel irritation when taken in large quantities thus people suffering from IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis should take it with caution.
vi. As it affects the blood sugar thus should be stopped prior to any surgical procedure.

Brief Answer:
further information & dosage

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for reverting back

1. Recent studies/research have postulated that with juice:

i. Aloe vera juice increases the risk of colorectal cancer by causing pseudomelanosis coli
ii. Since with regular use it causes the body to produce more adrenaline thus is unsafe for people with heart problems
iii. As it also lowers potassium thus may cause irregular heart beat, weakness of muscle thus not recommended
iv. As methi [fenugreek] and garlic have shown interaction with aloe juice by lowering blood glucose and potassium thus capsule form is ideal

2. Do not take home made preparations as they are likely to be adulterated always buy from reputed parhmacy
3. As we prepare and manufacture aloe vera capsules which are free from above side effects and have equally good results thus if interested I can courier you the medicine
4. Dosage: in capsule form: 200-300 mg per day
in juice form: 50 ml [2-3 tablespoon] per day
5. I mainly recommend to go with capsule form since they have given me more result oriented effect.
