Missed Periods, Stomach Cramps, Sickness. Pregnancy Tests Negative. Reason?

Hi, my period was due on 6th March but it didnt arrive. I m usually very regular. On Wednesday night this week I had bad stomach cramps , then on Thursday I started feeling sick, the only thing that helped was food. I have done 4 pregnancy tests at home - all have been negative. Yesterday there was blood when I went for a wee, I have had period like cramps today and some more blood, but definitely not as much as usual and I ve still been feeling sick. What s going on??

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.

Your symptoms suggests pregnancy but those are not definitive signs.
You need to consult your Gynecologist for other causes of missed periods like ovarian cyst, thyroid problem etc.
I suggest you to get your blood tested for beta HCG.
Transvaginal USG gives better idea about cause of missed period.
Hope this helps.
regards,
Dr Nilofer
