Infant Having Running Nose, Cough, Prescribed Chlorpheniramine. How Many ML Of Syrup Should I Give?

Hai my son is 31/2 yrs old.he is having running nose,cough…I have chlorpheniramine & phenylephrine syrup with me. How many ML of syrup should I give for my son. He was taking promethazine syrup&salbutamol & predisolone syrup trice a day.is it ok to give delcon syrup together vth this syrups.

I think you can stick to simple medications. Give paracetamol for fever. You can give Chlorpheneramine and phenylephrine drops (10-16 drops. I wouldn't give him the salbutamol and the prednisolone as there is no evidence this will be beneficial in viral upper respiratory tract infection which your chold has. Please be careful in giving steroids if its not required. Avoid using multiple medications. Use paracetamol and maybe T Minic drops.
