Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Parental history of heart is sufficient for a person as prone to heart disease, as genetics plays an important role.
Since your mother died due to heart attack in the age of 59 years.
Now your age is 45 years.
So consult a physician and get in X ray chest, E C G, ECHO, blood for lipid profile and of course BLOOD SUGAR level.
This will rule out any disease ( if any , than get in treatment anticipatory).
Active life without tension will keep you free from disease ( heart).
Hope I have answered your question.
If further any question I will help.
Good luck.
