What Is The Cause Of Pain And Discharge At Belly Button After Bowel Resection?

I had a bowel resection and loop ileostomy three months ago for rectal cancer. I am experiencing periodic sharp pains and discharge at my belly button. My stoma output is good. What could be the cause? Also I had my period for 4 weeks after surgery and my periods have been very irregular since. The last two occurred within a two week span. What could be causing this?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Looking to history and what ever you stated here I could say that the possibility of fistula has to be ruled out it is kind of passage forms between abdominal (upper) wall and peritoneum it is just similar to sinus, you have discus it with your surgeon for final clinical diagnosis , take care and have nice day.
