Will I Be Infected With Epiglottitis By Sharing A Liquor Bottle?
I have a friend that was hospitalized this morning with Epiglottitis. She had to have a trak put in and is in intensive care. There were three of us together and we shared a shot of Goldschlager. Last night she showed no signs of being sick. Will we get Epiglottitis? What do I need to look for?

it is unlikely that you will get infected , however if all 3 of you have been exposed from a common source then you may develop it!
please dont panic, go to the er immediately if you develop throat pain, fever or difficulty in breathing.
please drink lots of fluids and take rest!
