Experiencing Terrible Charley Horses At Night, Is This Due To Potassium Deficiency?

Been experiencing terrible charley horses at night for many months now. Eat a good diet, drink lots of liquids, eat bananas, drink coconut water. Would you suggest I get a blood test to see why it appears I'm experiencing some sort of a potassium deficiency.....
