General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM
Firstly I wants to know your age and occupation. This pain might be due to Cervical Spondylosis or OA of Temporomandible joint. Can be rule out by X-ray. To get rid of it use Cervical collar as much as you can, do regular cervical exercise as advised by by your physiotherapist, Don't lift weight, while working on computer etc change your posture of neck after every 1 hr., use hard bed to sleep and no pillow, in worse condition take analgesics, anti-inflammatory and apply locally diclo gel and take rest.
Eat only those food which are easy to chewing until you get to a diagnosis.
Hope this will help you,
Best Wishes
