Will Olanzapine Sort Out The Repetition And Anxiety?

I have totally dominating repetitive thoughts, which are preventing me from being able to concentrate on anything, I can't focus on anything else for more than a minute or 2. I have been put on olanzapine, will it sort out the repetition and anxiety?

Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

Olanzapine is a antipsychotic and it helps to control psychotic symptoms like delusion, hallucination or aggression. In low dose, it could be used for sleeping or anxiety, but it does not control repetitive thoughts. Repetitive thoughts are part of OCD in which treatment of choice is antidepressant. Consult a psychiatrist for proper treatment and diagnosis.

Thanks
