What Is The Cure For Bruised Knee?
Last night I felt an extreme burning sensation on my knee. I looked down and it appeared as though there was a bulging vein over my knee cap. Today my knee cap is bruised and the bruise goes above my knee like it is following the vein. My skin is hot where it is bruised. I have some discomfort in my knee that worsens when my knee is bent. Thoughts?

There can be various causes for such a clinical presentation like Hemarthrosis which is normally caused by an injury and the knee swelling comes on rapidly, accumulation of Synovial Fluid, ligament tear, meniscal tear out which most of them are painful. DVT, bursitis etc are the other causes.
Imaging is necessary along with physical exam to know exactly whats causing this.
