Recently diagnosed with erythema nodosum (age 27, 5'4'' 178 lbs, female, moderately active). Did a 5k obstacle course on Sunday. Today noticed what feels like slight swelling in lower leg, mid-calf to ankle. I press on the skin for a few seconds, and the skin & underlying tissue stays indented for a while. Doesn't matter if it's near the nodules or not.
What could cause this? Do I need to see a rheumatologist, dermatologist, psychic?
