even meditation and relaxation also helps. avoid fats in the diet, before eating any oily food stuff squeeze out the oil content in it reduce the oil and fat intake, green leafy vegetables also helps. take ginger lemon juice every day in the night before going to bed. this realy worked for my husband, now i can sleep without any disturbance in night.

My husband has a strong snoring problem. I should say he roars and not snores. Very very loud that no one can sleep next to him. Doctors say it s because the bone inside has grown and the nostrils are not equal. Also, he always has his mouth open for breathing when he is awake. He doesnot want to go for surgery. Any suggestion/treatment which shall reduced the problem by 50% atleast. Kindly suggest.

Hi, my 3yr old son very seldom breathes through his nose, he is a very noisy sleeper/breather and often when sleeping he stops breathing and after a few seconds gasps loudly in between snores. His breathing sounds more like a rattle than a wheeze and we have had inhalers from our GP as he thinks it asthma related although there seems to be very little improvement. Other symtoms include drooling, choking occasionally when eating and his speech is sometimes hard to understand. Could it be adenoid related?
