Could The Bumps On The Shaft Of The Penis Be Genital Herpes?

Hi I have recently noticed that I have some bumps around the shaft of my penis after masturbation. I do masturbate frequently and sometimes I feel that I don't keep my penis completely sanitary. The bumps seem to dissipate at times but then come back. I'm worried that they may be genital herpes.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Genital herpes can be presented as cracked or red areas or blisters. In some it is accompanied by fever and lymph node enlargement. But a yeast infection can be mistaken for that as you may get somewhat same appearance.A physical examination with a dermatovenerologist will help to rule out that.Genital herpes is treated with antiviral drugs like acyclovir.Ointment of acyclovir is also used for local application.Medication helps to decrease the duration and frequency of outbreaks.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
I find this answer helpful
