Chest Pain And Palpitations.

Hi im a 36 year old male for the last year i have had chest pain all across my chest more like stabbing pains that radiate from one part of my chest to another part the pain comes and go`s of it own accord and is not affected by physical activites or breathing, i also suffer from regular palpitations,i have seen my doctor i did an ecg which came back as branch bundle block i was then refered to a cardiac specialist who said it was not a heart problem but decided to do an exercise stress test any way, towards the end of the test my heart started to beat very illregular and the test had to be stopped premature i was taken for an ultrasound a few hours later, nothing was found so i was given a 48 hour ecg the results from that indicated some kind of tachycardia,at my follow up app the consultant insisted my tests results are quite normal i have no heart problem and there is not enough evidence to continue to investigate, my bloods are fine my father has suffered 2 strokes and my mother has high bp both grandparents died of heart disease, should i accept this conclusion or should i ask for a second opinion ? or could my chest pain be caused by something else ? thanks

If you are reassured, then there is no problem but you should be on regular follow up on account of strong family history of heart diseases. Also did you ask your doctor like why was there so much of irregular beats during the stress test.
