With Stents And Diabetes, What Could Sudden Spike In Blood Pressure Indicate?

I have Diabetes, and 3 heart stents. I m under doctors care for both. My blood pressure has always been at 130/70, but in the last few days it went to 180/100. I m 62, weigh, 320, and have for 20 years. I m never sick, but this new BP uptick has me worried.

Hi i read your query very carefully.

I would like to say that this may indicate a sudden change in diabetes and your overall health status.

So i recommend a full examinations to rule out any major problem. If everything ok than you have nothing to worry just begin treating your hypertension.

Hope it was of help
