Will Valve Repair Restrict Sports Activities?
My 16 year old son has been diagnosed with a leaking bicuspid valve. They say at resting state it is leaking at 50%. He is extremely active and we were floored when they told us this. Of course his concern is that his soccer career is over. If we opt for valve repair or replacement would doctors clear him to play sports?

If this is valvular heart disease then he need complete rest and the condition may need surgical treatment any kind of exertion may be harmful for him and this need to be avoided, take care.
