hi i am 26 years old having period problems for the past 12 months and my gp ask me to shed some weight and gave me birth control ( yasmin) to regulate my period and help to stop my period because it didnt staop for nearly a year. all test done were fine except i have pcos. i took some BC for the first month and it didnt help but continued bleeding heavily after the 21 days finished. GP asked me to continue again and might take some time for it to kick in. after 15 days i was fade up. so i stopped and bled heavily. i waited 10 days and the period stopped. so i discontinued the BC. and i took some slimming pills instead and manage to lose some weight. my period stopped on the 4th april till now. i done HPT and it was positive. i am worried about the slimming pill whether will harm the baby ?? i only took it for about a month since period stopped. please advice thanks likee
