Will Intake Of Marijuana Can Be Traced In Hair Follicle Test?
i have smoked marijuana 3 times in the past year (the last time was 9 months ago) and for 2 months straight Nov 2011-Dec 2011. I am applying for a job that states they will be doing a five year pre-employment drug screen. I'm assuming a hair follicle test will be done. Should i be worried?

THC-tetra hydro cannabinol (active principle of marijuana) can show up in hair about a week after consumption (it takes the hair bearing traces of THC that long to emerge from the scalp).THC take a long time to deteriorate in the hair and therefore testing can be done many days after consumption. A standard laboratory will check up to 90 days but a court or law enforcing institution can have hair analyzed for more than 3 months as well.
