Will Continuous Usage Of Norethisterone Cause Infertility?

I was prescribed northisterone to take on a cyclical basis. When it still didn t effect my irregular & heavy periods I was told to take it consistently. I did this for 2 yrs and stopped in 2009. I have only had 2 periods since then - can this drug cause infertility if taken without breaks?
