Hi,

If you have mentioned where the bumps are situated exactly and the nature of the bumps more accurate answer might have been possible. Anyhow, if the bumps are situated near the urethra, sometimes they may be related to genital and/or urinary tract infection. Bumps associated with symptoms like vaginal discharge, itching, burning, etc. indicates the possibility of genital infection. Bumps without all the symptoms can be due to folliculitis or some other cause which may not be related to urinary tract infection.

Steps that can help in treating urinary tract infection are:
- Taking plenty of oral fluids
- Avoiding holding the urine for long periods
- Using systemic antibiotics.

So by following these general measures and your doctor's advise the problem can be solved.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
